What is Big Data

WHAT IS BIG DATA?
(“Types of Big Data - Google Search.”)

Big data is data, too, but of enormous size. Big Data is a word describing a large data set, which grows significantly over time. In particular, this information is so large and diverse that none of the traditional data management systems can effectively store or process it.

TYPES OF BIG DATA

1.     STRUCTURED- Any data which can be stored in a fixed layout, obtained and analysed is called a ' structured ' data. An example of ' structured ' data is data contained in a relational database management system.

2.     UNSTRUCTURED- Any unspecified form or structure data is considered to be unstructured data. In terms of the preparation for deriving value, unstructured data present many challenges. A typical unstructured data example is a heterogeneous data source with simple text files, images and videos etc.

3.     SEMI-STRUCTURED- Both types of data can contain semi-structured data. Semi-structured data may be seen as structured, but it's not described in relation DBMS, for example, with a table definition. For instance, the data presented in an XML file is semi-structured data.

THE VALUE—AND TRUTH—OF BIG DATA

Big data has now developed into money. Considering some of the biggest technology companies in the world. Their data, which they continually analyse to create more productive products and to develop new products, provide a large part of their value.

The costs of data storage and processing made it easier and cheaper to store more than ever before by recent technological breakthroughs. You can make more precise and reliable business decisions by now with an increase in the amount of big data cheaper and more accessible.

It's not just analysing the value in big data (which is another advantage). The process of discovery includes insightful analysts, commercial users and managers who are asking the appropriate questions, acknowledging patterns, informed assumptions and predicting conduct.
